Winton Insurance Agency first occupied this building, formally the Bank of America, in March, 1954. Having few modifications, the building still looks as it did in 1913 when it first opened for business as the Bank of Italy. The original bank vault, located in the center of the building, is still in excellent working condition.

Tom was born and raised in Merced. He graduated in Merced High School’s Class of ’79 after serving seven months in Washington D.C. as a Capitol page, for Congressman Bernie Sisk.
He attended Merced College, graduating with an Associates degree in Business. He started his insurance career in 1978, and joined Winton-Ireland in 1982.
An almond grower himself, Tom specializes in crop insurance and serving farm insurance needs.
He and his wife Christina have three children: Sean, Duffy and Samantha. In his spare time, Tom enjoys a good round of golf.

Jeff grew up in the Merced area. He received an Associates Degree from Merced Junior College. He graduated from Fort Hays State University, Kansas with a degree in General Studies, emphasis on Business, in 2005.
He joined Winton-Ireland, Strom and Green in 2006 and acquired his Insurance License in the spring of 2007.
Jeff works in all areas of insurance including personal automobile, homeowners, contractors, and farmers. His specialty is in the field of workers compensation.
He enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves to travel.

Rita was born and raised in Upper Michigan. Following graduation she worked in the field of accounting.
She entered the insurance industry in 1981, in Colorado, working in an insurance agency. As a result of several moves with her husband, she earned her agent licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Michigan and California.
She joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green Insurance Agency in 1991. In 1998 she left to travel abroad with her husband. They lived in China for three and a half years and Monterrey, Mexico for two years. She re-joined Winton-Ireland in 2003 where she is currently the office manager for the Livingston Office.
