After many years at 1115 I Street, and then 1105 14th Street,  James Quinn & Sons moved to their current location at 1100 14th St., Suite C in Modesto.  Located in downtown Modesto, it is one of the nicest office complexes in the Modesto area.

Jeff was born and raised in Modesto. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in History and Economics in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army and California Army National Guard as a 1st Lieutenant; attained Supervising Appraiser, Stanislaus County Assessor's Office from 1968 to 1978.

He joined the family insurance agency in 1978, merged with Winton-Ireland in 1993, and became a shareholder and board member.

Jeff is a Past President of the Stanislaus Insurance Agents Association, and Past Director of the Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West. He holds the Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) professional designation, and is involved in all lines of insurance.

Jeff is a nationally ranked tennis player and held the #15 ranking in U.S. men's open tennis in 1965. He still enjoys tennis, and is an avid hunter, specializing in waterfowl and upland game. Married to Barbara since 1974, they have a daughter, Julia, whose husband Gogio also works in the Modesto office.

Nancy was born and raised in Modesto and has lived in the Central Valley most of her life. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, with a degree in Psychology, in 1969.

She grew up in an "insurance family", as her father started his own insurance agency in 1945. Nancy joined the family insurance agency in 1984. Nancy and her brothers, Jeff and Tom Quinn, merged their agency with Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green  in 1993. She is a partner in the agency and specializes in bonding. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is completing her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Nancy is married to Jay Jacobus and has a son, Marc, who also works with Winton-Ireland. In her spare time, she enjoys running, walking, and hiking.

Betty was born in upstate New York and moved to Modesto in 1980. She graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a Secondary Teaching Credential. Following graduation she taught high school English & Journalism in Missouri and Kansas.

She started her insurance career in 1973 as an annuity agent for Aetna Life & Casualty, subsequently moving into underwriting, in the property & casualty division.  After traveling the Central Valley as a marketing rep for several years, she became a superintendent at Aetna Life and Casualty's home office, in Hartford, CT.   In 1980, she moved back to California and became an independent agent. She started Lewis Business Insurance Services in 1988, the same year she obtained her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. She merged with Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1994.

Betty is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Turlock and Modesto Sister Cities International. She is married to Bruce Stewart, an independent commercial building inspector and has two sons; Nathan, an artist and professor in New Haven, CT and Matthew, who works in international business in Moscow, Russia. Her hobbies are her five granddaughters.

After graduating from Thomas Downey High School in 1990, Gogio spent two years serving in the U.S. Navy in Mayport, Florida, aboard the U.S.S. Hue City.  He returned from service to graduate from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.  He has since obtained licenses for both life, and fire and casualty insurance. Gogio is also a Notary Public.

Gogio began his career in insurance when he joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green, in 2005.

Gogio is married to Jeff Quinn’s daughter Julia, and they reside in Modesto.  When he is not working, Gogio and Julia enjoy day trips to the Bay area as well as entertaining friends. He plays on the company sponsored softball team, and enjoys attending local non-profit fundraising events.

Marc obtained Bachelors of Science degrees from CSU, Sacramento in both Risk Management and Finance, in 2002.  He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2004.  

He joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green Insurance Agency in January of 2003, following seven years with Safeway, Inc.  He is currently an Account Executive working in the Modesto office.

Marc enjoys developing and maintaining risk management programs that reduce the overall cost of risk for his clients. Marc has a diversified client base which includes contractors, agribusiness, and food related industries.
 
Marc lives in Modesto with his wife Jolene and their children: Mason and Jenna. His hobbies include scuba diving, hunting, snow skiing, and camping.

Bob was raised in Stockton and completed his education in 1963 at University of the Pacific. He was a member of the California National Guard for eight years.

He began his insurance career in 1963 with New York Life. Bob spent eighteen years in the Property Casualty claims field before becoming an Agent/Broker in 1981, when he started Gotelli Insurance Services. In 1986 Bob was an original partner in the Valley Producers Insurance Cluster and in 1994, he joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green.

He is a past president of Modesto Claims Association, Modesto Agents Association, and the Modesto North Rotary.

Bob is married to Dee. They have four children: Lisa, Rob, Tana and Jennifer and five grandchildren. Bob was a Founder of the Modesto Youth Soccer Association and still referees games. He also enjoys golf, hunting and fishing, and spending time at the family ranch near Patterson.
