Mike Ireland, Sr. | Chief Executive Officer mikireland@wintonireland.com

Mike grew up in Winters, California, where his father and grandfather owned and operated the Ireland Insurance Agency.   He graduated from Occidental College in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

He began his insurance career in 1964 with Aetna Life and Casualty while attending law school.  He then worked at Firemans Fund for several years as a field underwriter.  Mike met Keith Winton while working with Firemans Fund and developed a strong connection that led to Mike joining the Winton Agency in 1972. Four years later, Keith and Mike opened the first branch office of Winton-Ireland Insurance Agency in Turlock.

Mike has seen tremendous growth in Winton-Ireland since 1972.  He continues to be an integral part of the day-to-day operations, actively servicing his accounts, mentoring employees, and managing the agency.

Mike is married to Bettyann, his high school sweetheart, and they have two children and five grand children.  Mike is a 30 year member and past president of the Livingston Rotary.  Mike is an avid outdoorsman; he always makes time for his two favorite hobbies, which are hunting and gun collecting.

Rick was born and raised in Turlock and received his teaching credential from CSU, Stanislaus in 1978.  He started his insurance career with Winton-Ireland in 1985 as the business manager.  He became a shareholder in 1987 and has contributed greatly to the agency's growth. He is currently the agency's Chief Operating Officer.

Rick enjoys working in risk management and currently manages RISKTEC, a risk management subsidiary of Winton-Ireland.  Committed to furthering his education in risk management, he obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1989, Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1991, Certified Risk Management (CRM) designation in 2003, and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2006. 

Rick is also involved and serves on many community boards and is a member of the Turlock Sunrise Rotary Club.  Rick resides in Turlock with his wife, Sandy, and they have three children: Blane, Mandi and Grant.  He has been involved in many youth activities and has coached baseball, football, volleyball, and gymnastics over the last twenty-five years.

Michael graduated from Turlock High School in 1982 and the University of Nevada, Reno in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He joined Winton-Ireland in 1987 and became a shareholder in 1998. He is presently the Chief Information Officer. Michael enjoys working in the food processing and construction industries and developing effective risk management and loss control programs. Michael obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations in 1991, and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2003.

Michael's hobbies and interests include playing the guitar, photography, snow skiing, hockey, coaching kids, and anything outdoors. On Saturdays during the winter months, Michael directs the adaptive snow ski program at Dodge Ridge for the Society for Handicapped; his wife and children also participate as volunteers.

Michael resides in Turlock with his wife Debbie and their three children: Kaitlyn, Maecie and Kellen. They are active members of Monte Vista Chapel in Turlock and huge fans of the San Jose Sharks.

Paul has been a Turlock resident most of his life.  He attended Turlock High School and CSU Stanislaus, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  In 1993 Paul moved to San Francisco and worked as an accountant for a large mutual fund company, while studying in the Masters program at Golden Gate University.

He joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1997 as Controller. Paul was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and shortly after, he became a shareholder.

Paul is currently a Board member of the Turlock Chamber of Commerce and enjoys participation in various local clubs and organizations.  Paul resides in Turlock with his wife Coleen and their two children: Claire and Paul.

Sophia was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She studied Business Administration at York University and in 1981 received the designation of Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional with a management major.  She received the Certified Risk Management (CRM) designation from the American Risk Management Institute in 2001, and her Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2007.

Sophia began her insurance career in 1975 with Royal Sun Alliance and joined The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company in 1995. She moved with her family to the United States and joined Nationwide/Allied Insurance in Des Moines in 2003. In July 2007 she relocated to California's Central Valley and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green as V.P. of Operations and Strategic Projects.

Sophia has a passion for fundraising and was co-founder of the Starlight Children's Insurance Charity Gala and a founding member of Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade, both in Toronto.  She has served on numerous Boards including the Nuclear Energy Association and Childserve Habilitation Center. She is a member of the Legacy Circle of Emanuel Medical Center.

She is married to Vitas and they have four children: Anthony, Ben, Paul and Victoria. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing golf.

Jim graduated from California State University at Fullerton in 1971 with a degree in Sociology.

He began his insurance career in 1971 with Aetna Life and Casualty in Southern California and transferred to the Central Valley in 1972.  He worked for Great American Insurance Company holding a variety of positions in underwriting, marketing, and management until 1983 when he joined a regional insurance brokerage. In 2001, he managed the Farm Program for Royal & Sun Alliance in Stockton.  Jim joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 2006.

Jim's hobbies include auto and motorcycle racing and Disc Golf. He resides in Modesto with his wife Donna.

Ted was born in Madera and moved to Turlock when he was five years old.  He attended Modesto Junior College following graduation from Turlock High School.

Ted began his insurance career in 1971, as an agent with Preferred Risk Mutual Insurance Company. The following year he joined the Dewey W. Green Insurance Agency.  When his father retired in 1977, Ted purchased the agency with Marvin Strom and formed the Strom & Green Insurance Agency. Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green was formed in 1988, when Marvin retired, and Ted merged Strom & Green with Winton-Ireland.

Ted is an avid sportsman; he enjoys basketball and is an accomplished ‘team roper.'  He is married to Sheryl and they have four children: Rod, Jeff, Alison and Blake.

Christopher grew up in Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area. He received his Bachelors Degree in History in 1973, from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga. He has held a Notary Public commission for the State of California since 1978.

He began his insurance career in 1975, with the Lorenzi-Massaso Agency in Merced. In 1981, Chris became one of the first Almond and Multi-Peril Crop Insurance Agents in Merced and Stanislaus Counties.  From 1983 through 1996, he was a partner in Freeberg & Fitzgerald Insurance Associates in Hilmar, and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1996.

Chris was active in the Young Agents Association of California from 1976 through 1991. He serves a wide range of clients, from farmers to manufacturers to contractors; servicing all of their needs, including international ocean marine shipping.

He is a member of the Young Men's Institute (Y.M.I), and serves as its Educational Foundation Board Secretary. Chris is the Moderator of Adult Religious Education at Holy Rosary Church in Hilmar. He is a member of the Chambers of Commerce in Hilmar and Turlock, and the Legacy Circle of Emanuel Medical Center. He is married to Sandra and they have two adult children: Martin and Tyler Marie. In his spare time, Chris enjoys fishing and hiking, as well as a weekly game of golf with his wife, on Sunday afternoons.

Dale is a native of Turlock and attended CSU, Stanislaus, where he studied Business Administration, Management.

He has an extensive background in the food service industry, having owned and operated two local restaurants. Dale began his insurance career in 2004 and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 2006.  He is currently working towards his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Dale is married to Donna and they have three children: Nick, Brad and Erin. He is a member of the Turlock Rotary and New Life Christian Center.  Dale enjoys spending time with his family, and the occasional outing to the mountains, golf course or ballpark.

Ernie was raised in the Central Valley and attended Modesto Junior College and CSU, Stanislaus. He earned his Life Underwriter LUTC designation in 1976.

His insurance career began in Berkeley in 1974 with CalFarm. In 1980 he became a partner in Strom & Green Insurance Agency, and came on-board with Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green with the merger in 1988.

Ernie is credited with starting youth football in Turlock, which now has 240 members. He is Past President of Kiwanis, and has served on numerous boards at Turlock High School.

He is married to Sue, and they have four children and seven grandchildren. Ernie loves to travel and enjoys playing golf.

Jeff is a native of Turlock. Following graduation from Turlock High School in 1992, Jeff attended Merced College and played baseball for the Blue Devils.  

Jeff began his insurance career in 1994 and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 2003. He earned his Agri-Business Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2006.  Jeff enjoys working in agriculturally based business, including dairies and food processing.

Jeff is an active member of The National Exchange Club. He enjoys all sports and in particular, roping and baseball. He is a member of American Cowboy Team Roping Association (ACTRA) and the United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC).  He is married to Lori and they reside in Turlock.

Jeremy has lived in Turlock most of his life. His prior business career included working for Tandy Corporation and AT&T.

He began his insurance career in 2000 when he joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green. He obtained his Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2006, and is pursuing his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Jeremy is an active member of the Rotary Club of Turlock. In his spare time Jeremy enjoys traveling, movies, and music. He resides in Turlock with his wife Missy and their daughter Reece.

JoAnn was born and raised in the Central Valley. Following graduation from Modesto Adventist Academy in 1975, she attended Pacific Union College.

She began her career in the insurance industry in 1985, and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1994. She specializes in property/casualty and health insurance. JoAnn earned her Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designation in 1997 and is a member of the National Association of Insurance Women.

She has three children: Kim, Ross and Zak and two grandchildren. In her spare time, JoAnn likes to travel, go to ball games, movies, and concerts.

Kydaran grew up in the Bakersfield area. He graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Pre Law, in 1982.

He started his insurance career in 1985 with State Farm, as a Bodily Injury Claims Adjustor, while attending law school. He moved to Turlock in 1987 and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green as an insurance agent. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2002.

Kydaran works primarily with commercial accounts, with a special emphasis on the food service industry. He has managed the agency's on-site insurance seminars since 1997, and has assisted in the management of their Sales/Producer meetings since 2005.

Kydaran is married to his college sweetheart Michelle Ireland, and they have two daughters: Courtney and Haley. He enjoys most outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, and golf.

Leslie was born and raised in Turlock and is a graduate of Turlock High School.

She began her insurance career in 1987 with Blue Shield of California and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1994. Leslie handles all aspects of life and health insurance, specializing in employee benefits.

Leslie is married to Rob and they have two children: Ryan and Olivia.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping with family and friends at the coast, and cooking. She is on the Board of Hilmar-Stevinson Youth Baseball and a member of the Hilmar Site Council.

Lynn was born and raised in the Hilmar and Turlock area. Lynn attended Hilmar High School and CSU, Stanislaus, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Economics (with Honors), in 1991.

She worked with Bettyann Ireland at her retail clothing store while attending CSU, Stanislaus. Lynn joined Winton-Ireland's Health Department in 1991 and became a shareholder in 2000.  She earned her Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) designation in 1999, Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) in 2004, and is currently studying for her Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designation. 

Lynn actively supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and has worked with the JDRF on numerous fundraisers and activities.  

Lynn is married to Tracy and they have two daughters: Montana and Madison.  When she's not working, Lynn enjoys spending time with her children and their sports/school activities, photography, scrap booking, Sudoku, and reading.

Norma was born and raised in the Central Valley.  She graduated from CSU, Stanislaus in 1983 with a Bachelors of Arts degree and teaching credential, and later received her administrative credential.

After many years of teaching she began her insurance career in 2005, when she joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green.  Norma specializes in employee benefits, individual and family health plans, and worker's compensation.

Norma is an Ambassador for the Turlock Chamber of Commerce and is currently participating in the "Turlock Leadership" program.  She is also a member of the Kiwanis of Greater Turlock Service Club.

Norma is married to Kevin and they have two boys: Zack and Blake.  She enjoys jogging, Pilates, and watching her boys play baseball and other sports.

Rick Moen graduated from UC Davis in 1992.  He spent 7 years teaching middle school in Southern California and Hilmar.

Rick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Davis in 1992.  Following graduation, he spent 7 years teaching middle school in southern California and Hilmar.

He began his insurance career in 2005 when he joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green. He obtained his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in 2005 and his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2006. He is registered with FINRA/SIPC, holding Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65 securities licenses, and is working on his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. Rick handles all lines of insurance, with emphasis on non-for-profits and employee benefits/retirement and financial planning.

Rick is a member of the Turlock Noon Rotary and the Board of Elders at Monte Vista Chapel.  He is married to Melanie and they have three young children. In his spare time Rick plays guitar in the Monte Vista Chapel worship band, enjoys gourmet food, and an occasional round of golf.

Kim obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Human Resources in 1981 from CSU, Sacramento. She earned her Professional of Human Resources designation in 1989 from U.C. Davis.

Kim joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in September of 2007, following 12 years in life & health insurance sales. In addition, Kim has 13 years of human resources management experience. She continues to remain current with state & federal legislation and compliance in both fields. She has been a licensed life and health agent since 1995.

Kim specializes in developing customized employee benefit plans to meet the needs of the customer, reducing company exposure, and working to reduce employee turnover. She has a client base of both small and large employer groups.

Kim lives in Turlock with her husband Manuel. They have four children and are very active in the community as well as Fresno State University. Kim's hobbies include golfing, coaching soccer, volleyball, camping, hiking Half-Dome, and fundraising for various non-profit organizations.

Rod graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, in 1996.

He began his insurance career in 1999 when he joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green. He received his Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations in 2006. He is currently working towards his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation.

Rod is a member of the Turlock Sunrise Rotary.  He is married to Tarina and they have three children: Hannah, Jenna and Isabella. In his spare time he enjoys bicycling, exercising, and spending time with the family.

Roger was born in Patterson California and grew up on the Westside.  He graduated from Gustine High School and attended Modesto Junior College before beginning his insurance career.

He started his insurance career in 1975, and following two agency mergers, joined Winton Ireland-Strom & Green in 1988. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1994.

Roger is married to Geri and they have two daughters: Jennifer and Julie.  His favorite activities include road cycling, snow skiing, and spending time with family.

Serafim was born in the Portugese Azores and moved to the United States in 1960. He graduated from Chowchilla High School in 1971, following which he attended Merced College.

He started his insurance career in 1991 with the Greater Modesto Insurance Company, and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 1992.

Serafim holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designations, and is working towards his Certified Insurance Specialist in Construction (CISC) designation.

He is married to Maria and they have four children: Seraphin, Jonathan, Natalie and Lisa. Serafim enjoys open water fishing.

Brandon grew up in Turlock and attended Denair High School. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Modesto Junior College. He went on to the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he played football and received his Bachelor of Science in Business in 2001.

He began his insurance career in 2001, and joined Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green in 2007.

Brandon is married to Jennifer and they have a daughter Kaiya. He enjoys coaching high school football, travel, golf, and scuba diving.

Michael is a native of Turlock.  He graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in History, in 2004. He obtained his Master of Business Administration at CSU, Stanislaus in 2006, while working full-time.  

Michael began his insurance career with Winton-Ireland, Strom & Green Insurance Agency in 2000. He has obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.  Currently, Michael is working on the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations.

Michael is Secretary of the Turlock Sunrise Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Active 20/30 Club in Turlock. Michael enjoys golf and hiking in his spare time.
